We know that God is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, and essentially exists outside of space and time, He knows the beginning from the end, He is also The Alpha and The Omega and He does not change, neither is there shadow of turning with Him.
This raises a question flag: “If all and all was already predetermined in life, why try right, or even:
“Why does God allow things to happen in this broken world?”
Let me get right to the point:
90,000 to 146,000 people died in Hiroshima and 60,000 to 80,000 people in Nagasaki via a Nuclear strike.
Who and what killed them?
All it took was a man called Albert Einstein and His famous equation E=mc2 explains the energy released in an unstable atom, then with continuity and workmanship was created into a bomb that was dropped by the USA on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Created by the brightest of minds J. Robert Oppenheimer, with zero US boots on Japanese soil. This was a decided undeniable fact, it was a well orchestrated attack.
It was not God that dropped the bomb, no, it was the USA.
God is not responsible for the genocide, known as the Holocaust, no, not at all, all it took was a man bittered with the Jews aptly: “Adolf Hitler“. The Nazis and their allies and collaborators killed 6,000,000 Jewish people. This systematic, state-sponsored genocide master minded by two notorious SS officers namely: Heinrich Himmler and Adolf Eichmann.
It was not God. Period. It was Hitler and his SS officers.
God is and was not responsible for the “apartheid regime in South Africa”, which greatly oppressed people of color: No all it took was a racist regime and a lot of hate for people of color”. People of color are still crippled from the after-effects of the “apartheid regime, yes, even til this very day”
All it took was one man, a Hero of mine, Nelson Mandela “Madiba”: 27 years of imprisonment on Robben Island, walked out hate-free and bitterless, for a free and fair democracy, one person, one vote, and The ANC (African National Congress) won with a landslide because people “chose” to vote for the ANC. God is not in charge of the ballot box, no, people are.
God did not land on the moon, no, Neil Armstrong did, via NASA’s continuity and inventions. It was a 100% human effort and aspiration to determine them for space travel.
Suffice it to say, that God is in many cases not responsible for our choices and their outcomes. Life has predetermined outcomes, based on the choice criteria we make.
Your destiny is progressive as you journey in your Christian pilgrimage with God.
I know in the next 40 seconds, someone, somewhere “will” commit suicide. It is God’s will that you live and not die. God said: “I set before you Life or Death, Blessing or Cursing, but then we find The Lord spurring us on to “choose Life”—and not death.
Suppose I had to instruct you to do three cartwheels, one backflip, and ten pushups. Is this then God’s instructions? No, it is Jaco’s instructions, you were just the fool to do it. It is then not God’s will but mine.
Someone slammed into your car, not that you weren’t intoxicated, but because some other fool was and was speeding without stopping at the traffic lights. Get it?
You did not get lung cancer for nonsmoking, no, you lit up every smoke at a pace of 60 a day while expecting to have great health.
We don’t go to the gym to put on weight but rather to lose some, you are the one who joined the gym and yes, you are the one who will do the exercises that will result in the reading of a scale for mass or weight and the scale does not lie.
You can’t pray for your horse to win, a hole-in-one, or even the one team to win against the other team, God does not cheat or do match-fixing: May the best team win.
You did not get a triple bypass because you were living with a healthy diet, no, you ate too much fatty, oil-fried, over-the-top high-calorie refined foods and your heart could not handle it. Many people are grossly overweight, not because they eat too little, but because they eat too much.
You did not get HIV/AIDS from a bug in the air, no, HIV/AIDS is a sexually transmitted disease and millions die from it, it is a sure death sentence.
You did not lose your job, because you did your job, no, you lost your job because you didn’t do your job. Period
God did not formulate the coronavirus, no, it was cooked up in a lab in China, and millions died.
You did not flunk and get an “F” on your test results because you were well prepared, no, you flunked because you did not study and ate too many Cheetos.
You did not become an alcoholic because you drank too much lemonade, no, because you are overly fond of the taste of alcohol inside your lemonade.
AA “Alcoholics Anonymous” does not exist because people are free from alcohol, no, they need moral group-based meetings not to pick the bottle up again.
The same goes for NA “Narcotics Anonymous” people struggling with hard drugs.
Adam and Eve did not fall because they listened to God, no, because they listened to the serpent “Satan”, and did eat.
God is and was never at fault. We are by default sinners in need of a Saviour, and you can receive Him in your Life today.
All it took was One Man, Jesus Christ to free us from all Hell and the grave, He came screaming into this world and left screaming paying a very real price for you and me.
He Loves you and died with a purpose, and that is to save you. He paid the penalty in full. Regardless of your previous choice type criteria and sins, He will forgive you if you invite Him into Your Heart.
Let me close with this, you can enter everlasting Life with God if you choose Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and then in obedience, give heed to His instructions and Word.
You can also go to Hell, not because you do everything right, no, you walk straight into Hell because you do everything wrong, you choose to. Period.
Everyone is conscious of their works and words and they choose not to accept God into their Hearts simply because they fail to fit a perfect God into a broken world, therefore many choose to be “agnostic” or even “atheists”.
I can in assurance say to you, you can go to Heaven and possess everlasting Life, and the only means is Through Jesus Christ. This world may leave you with a chance, however, please don’t gamble or take a chance with your soul. Life is so short, why not accept the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?
Romans 10:9-10 – If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
If you are uncertain whether you are saved, not even too sure whether you will enter everlasting bliss with God, and you say Jaco: “Show me how”, then please Pray this prayer with Pastor Jim.
