FASHIONABLE YOU

Ever the trend, how people vary from one kind of fashion to the other. It is in essence a national or even global movement. If one follows fashionable trends whether it be in social circles, news, magazines, clothing, music, church, praise and worship in church, etc. It remains ever-evolving.

A certain feel or style that places you in touch with the mass of people around us. We need to understand that what is going on which may be fashionable to us is not at all God’s.

I have observed where churches bring a worldly fashion or trend, a sound into their stage and presentation. So there are many churches with the same mannerisms of conversing, socializing, praise, and worshiping right down to the very core of their doctrine.

How easily one can be swayed by the trend or fashion that is going, if you look into the past, the style, the sound, the mannerisms, it has changed.

Technology is the greatest resurgent responsible for this.

There are simply things:

1.) That can change

2.) That can impossibly change

Let’s start with God, He does not change, and neither is there a shadow of turning with Him. He does not care how you worship Him as long as it is done in Spirit and Truth.

What is the Truth “Veritas”, it is a constant nonvariable. It never changes.

Sin has been since time began, and its after effect to this day has not changed.

When Cain murdered His brother Able, God said this to Cain: “If it is not well, sin lieth at the door.” How true. Take note, this was way before the Ten Commandments were handed to Moses on Mount Sinia.

Sin has its aftereffects, period.

God is on the throne, people can only reach a certain measure of fame, God will not allow anyone to play God, He is a jealous God. Most A-List actors in Hollywood despise their life, money and fame can’t make you happy as said by “Leonardo Decaprio”.

We all want to be presentable according to the latest trend and many Christians are willing to compromise on their heartfelt belief simply it is not the thing to be.

As people we change outwardly, yet do we not remain the same man or woman?

Life has many faces, as time progresses, we retain certain physical features but there is a notable difference in appearance. Your physical features change constantly while you are reading the article, believe it or not.

Many try to beat aging by doing all kinds of silly things like, liposuction, facelifts, etc. Or people try all kinds of creams, and products on the market to look younger and they are willing to pay top dollar for it.

Time is not on our side. The mortal man.

I was at the gym this morning, and I burned some calories, but one meal later and the calories are replaced, one cannot beat this earthly suit or flesh.

One can spot a “face tuck” a mile away, most especially in Hollywood or people who are very popular with a lot of money. Needless to say, the person inside remains.

It is of note, that we must accept and love ourselves, as for me hey! I am overweight, am I happy about it? Not one bit, the medication I am on has blown me up.

We must feel good about ourselves. Who is the person you face in the mirror each day, do you like what you see?

How you see and Good see are two different topics. God Loves you with an everlasting Love.

I would like to refer to a statement our late Pastor Ray McCauley always said: “When God created you He broke the mold” You are one of a kind.

As snow follicles fall, they are innumerable to count, and not a single flake is the same. You are special, even if you may not believe me.

You are special regardless of race, creed, and tongue. God planted you with destiny and with a plan in your mother’s womb. Your DNA is 100% unique from any other person on earth, that is why forensic crime labs use DNA profiling should they have a spec of blood.

You have a Father in Heaven who loves you, many, mostly women might have a misprint of a father figure simply because their daddy sexually abused them. I have spoken to many of these victims, they normally end up in mental rehabs if they have not already committed suicide.

We live in a very broken world with so many people suffering for whatever reason.

All I can do for you is point you to Your Heavenly Father, He did not hurt you or allow you to be hurt, because that would be unfair and we serve a very just God.

One day, surely we will fully grasp why.

you are uncertain whether you are saved, not even too sure whether you will enter everlasting bliss with God, and you say Jaco: “Show me how”, then please Pray this prayer with Pastor Jim.
